Roasting and Brewing
This year we decided to team up with a few other local producers to add a little something special to our monthly range of beers. Next up it’s coffee and the amazing Missing Bean Cafe and Roastery in Oxford. Rather than simply supplying us with some coffee beans for the brew we were thrilled to be invited along to take part in the actual roasting. It was a fascinating morning and we had such a good time that we invited the Missing Bean team along for the brew day itself in Abingdon.
The result? A moorish pale ale with a stunningly smooth an subtle coffee flavour supplied by the naturally dried Heirloom beans from Gerbata Village, Ethiopia. Backed up with superb Mosaic hops this beer is seriously good!
